…and BTW, you are so right with the lack of bekiyos in your gedanken shmooz.
I feel that a bochur *should* know shas at his chasunah – the last mesichta he can learn altz choson…
In fact there were many “shas chasanim” over the years in my yeshiva gedolah.
How can we make a significant change in the “mainstream” kehillos?
