Tools for Success 1: Screen Capture

Screen Capture software can be used for training, for presentation, and for many more things in your business. In this video, I bring you the facts about how to capture your work on your computer.

I’m talking to you now on a wireless headset and using a screen capture tool for the video. I am using Camtasia studio because it includes a video editing tool. Many of you don’t need that, and so you can go with a free version called Jing. Camtasia costs $300 for PCs and $100 for Macs.

Friends who have used Jing have been impressed.

What can you use these tools for?

They can be used for training. I had a client that had bought a $20,000 product that required a trainer. If they had used Jing they could have recorded this training for future reference.

You can use Jing, for example, to record the right way to fill out a spreadsheet on Excell.
